1. Introduction
This website and the Manly Warringah Cricket Academy (MCA) is operated by the Manly Warringah Cricket Academy Pty Ltd ABN 65 201 820 845.We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. The following terms and conditions together with other information on our website will inform you as to the full conditions you are agreeing to.Everyone attending the MCA indoor centre is subject to these terms and conditions. MCA has the legal right to deny anyone entry and / or instruct anyone to immediately leave the facility at any time. Anyone refusing to comply with our T&C’s will be asked to immediately leave the MCA facility. Failure to comply will result in the police being called.
2. CENTRE RULES
1. Use of alcohol, cigarettes, drugs or any other intoxicant is forbidden in the Indoor Centre.
2.Footwear should be checked to ensure all shoes are non-mark soles. Spikes on footwear strictly prohibited.
3. No food is to be consumed in the Indoor Centre other than from vending machines. All food and drinks must be consumed outside the net area.
4. Drinks can be consumed but users are to take all containers with them when finished.
5. Storage of any personal cricket equipment and bags must be placed in designated areas.
6. Inappropriate behaviour and bad language will not be tolerated.
7. Safety will not be compromised.
8.Patrons not involved in training activities are not permitted to be in the area.
9. Unsafe behaviour or actions may result in the User or Users being asked to leave, if deemed of significant and reasonable danger to others.
10. No chewing gum permitted in the Centre.
11. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times as it is not MCA's responsibility to do this. This also includes children not CLIMBING on netting or throwing balls around the centre.
3. INJURIES
1. If injury occurs and is serious use the emergency call button at reception .
2. MCA accepts no responsibility for any injuries sustained by any player, or their guests, whilst in the centre.
3. Players accept that all sports carry a risk of injury. All persons participating at the centre do so at their own risk and must consider their own circumstances before participating.
4. MCA Net Hire
1.Please note all bookings are expected to start and finish at the prescribed time (This includes equipment set ups, warm-downs and team talks). MCA does not take any responsibility for delays at the beginning of user’s scheduled times.
2. Users will be charged an additional fee for any additional use, which runs over the agreed time. The user provides supervision and the user takes direct responsibility for the behaviour and actions of their group.
3.Users must not enter the indoor cricket net area until their booked commencement time.
4. Lane changeover period: Please note that the last 5 minutes of your booking is used as a lane changeover period. Please be ready to exit the indoor centre lanes 5 minutes before the end of your hire period.
5. All users must promptly vacate their lane at the conclusion of their booked time.
6. Bowling Machines are not to be operated until induction training has been completed.
7. Bowling machines are only to be operated by an adult and ball machine settings must only be changed by an adult.
8. MCA will only accept booking with full payment. No payment = no booking.
5. CANCELLATIONS
Bookings can be cancelled up to 48 hours before the hire start date and time. Online click “view my current bookings” link under the calendar on the right. A full credit will be applied to your account for future use and must be used within 6 months of original booking. There are no cash refunds.
6. SAFETY & EVACUATION
1.EVACUATION – FIRE, BOMB OR OTHER CONTINUAL RINGING of the bells and/or interrupted short beeps and/or sirens will indicate a need to evacuate the building. Evacuate is defined here as “to empty the buildings of persons.”
2. The Supervisor of the group is responsible for removing the group. Following the centre instructions and evacuation markings
3. DO NOT stack chairs or lock doors.
4. Leave belongings.
5. Leave in an orderly fashion by the nearest door. “EXIT” signs are displayed to aid persons leaving the building.
6. Move in a controlled manner towards the designated EXIT point.
7. Once evacuation has taken place, persons must not re-enter or walk under buildings to reach the oval. NOTE – EVACUATION OF BUILDINGS IS A PRIORITY. THEN COMES ACCOUNTING FOR ALL PERSONNEL.
